M92 is a globular cluster of stars in the northern constellation of Hercules. It is also one of the galaxy's oldest clusters. It is around 16000 ly above/below the galactic plane and 33000 ly from the Galactic Center. It is about 26,700 light-years away from our Solar System. Its true diameter is 109 ly, and may have a mass corresponding to 330,000 suns.
