Esprit 100ED
Lower's Nebula, also known as Sharpless 261 (Sh2-261), is located about 3300 light years from Earth on the outermost edge of our Milky Way between the Orion and Perseus arm. It is large faint region of predominantly ionised hydrogen. Harold and Charles Lower discovered this nebula in 1939.
